Escape from Ludum Dare
Escape from Ludum Dare is a game I made for the Ludum Dare Competition. The goal of the competition is to create a full game in 48 hours, based on a theme. The theme for this one was escape, and I decided to make a game about escaping Ludum Dare itself. In the game, there is a collection of microgames, each one based on a previous ludum dare theme, which you have to beat to go to the boss, and finally escape from Ludum Dare. As the servers went badly because there were lots of people (599 submitted entries! WOW!), I added some kind of joke at the end :P. The game was #5 (out of 599! WOW! Thanks guys :) ) on the humour category and #9 on the fun category! #77 overall :). Play the game here!. You can see the journal here, although I was mainly on the IRC channel, and the timelapse here!
Space Shooter Room
Space Shooter Room is a game I made for the So Many Rooms game jam. The goal of the jam was to create a game happening in a ‘room’ (in some abstract way, of course), with a delimited entrance and exit. Then, all the games submitted were put together in a game, which can be played on the game jam website OR on the Winnitron Arcade Machines!
Play the room here!
CogHeart Says
CogHeart Says is the game I submitted to the first PunkWeek competition (and one of the two I’ve ever completed in that competition, but the other was lost). It’s about trying to memorize the patterns the stream of hearts will have, and avoid them. The theme of the competition was FlashPunk style (pinkish, hearts and cogs), and the restriction was resolution of 96×96, scaling allowed. Play it here!
